National Tribunals and Institutions

Given that ICCAL refers to the analytical framework that examines the dialogue between the national courts and the inter-American system, synergy links have been established with Constitutional Courts throughout the region. These links materialize in the development of joint events, publications, and research projects.

National institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights play a fundamental role in the resolution of the legal problems faced by the region from an international human rights law approach. In this sense, their participation in the ICCAL project is of the utmost importance to understand the dynamics between international law and domestic law that are promoted by Latin American transformative constitutionalism.
