National Chapters (Latin America)

Research and cooperation initiatives in each Latin American country within the framework of ICCAL.

Regional scope

Each chapter brings together researchers committed to the study of constitutionalism in their own country, linking local work with a comparative Latin American perspective.

Thematic approach

The chapters analyse key issues for democratic resilience, such as judicial independence, citizen participation, social rights, climate change and digital governance.

Collaborative work

Activities include seminars, workshops, joint publications, and dialogues with national institutions to connect constitutional research and practice.

ICCAL Link

Each chapter is part of the broader ICCAL network, which allows for the sharing of findings, coordination of methodologies, and strengthening of regional and interregional impact.

Countries

The chapters operate independently but in line with ICCAL’s objectives. They function as local hubs that enable constitutional transformations to be observed from within, provide empirical evidence from the field, and promote exchanges between academics, civil society, and public institutions.
